Surviving is a documentary realised within the framework of the rehearsals and performances of the teenage-play “Herons” by Simon Stephens. The film picks up the themes of violence by and to teenagers, the abuse of drugs and alcohol as well as the role of relationship figures of young people within their families and circles of friends.
